The Budapest Card is valid for 24h, 48h, 72h, 96h, or 120h and once activated, your ticket is valid for the number of hours you’ve chosen.

Before the first use of Budapest Card you have to fill in the boxes on the backside of the card in order to activate your card.

The card must be filled in properly by the card holder. Incorrectly filled in or corrected card cannot be accepted or valid.

Write the date you wish to start using the card on it, and sign the card. After this, the Budapest Card is ready to be used and from the second you activate the card the public transport can be used free of charge in Budapest.

Cancellation is possible until 23:59 on the day before your visit.
Rescheduling is possible until 23:59 on the day before your visit.

In case of lost or stolen card, the BFTK Nonprofit Kft provides you at one time a replacement card, which contains the unused services within the validity period of the original card. Without registration you cannot get a replacement card. You can register your Budapest Card here.

You can pick up your replaced card in the Tourinfom office in Sütő Street.
